I respect you for your encyclopedic political knowledge and grasp of political history. I tended to disagree with you previously only on the border issue and, after modifying my own view a bit, as to its importance in the hierarchy of issues. I had hoped that I had earned your respect as well but that is up to you, as it must be.

On Megyn Kelly and her monthlies, I adamantly disagree with any claim that this was a figment of Eric Erickson's imagination. OTOH, Erickson is neither a leftist hack nor a conservative hero. Check the article on Erickson in Wikipedia which attributes the "blood coming out of her wherever to Fox News and not to Erickson.

Trump has been cozy with Her Satanic Majesty, with the Clinton Family Crime Foundation, with Chicago's The Rahmfather, etc., etc., etc. This is excused as a cost of doing real estate business by The Donald. Bribery of leftists is still bribery of leftists. What are the sultans of Brunei and Abu Dhabi doing that Trump is not doing?

When Willard tries to get in again, I will join you in attacking him but, until then, you and I must agree to disagree.

When Trump is over with, as I suspect he will be when he fails to navigate the ideological waters, I promise to be kind.

God bless you and yours! I

The border issues got brought to my front door, one reason why Trump’s no-hold-barred comments about Mexicans rang so very true. When they’re practically in your face showing utter disrespect for the law, nevermind community, other issues tend to become of lesser import. I was an ear-witness (ear as in heard) to an attempted murder across the street from my house of two police officers by an illegal from Central America (who had been in the country unmolested for a decade since Dubya), and harrassed on a daily basis for 7 straight years by Mexicans of dubious immigration status (but about as low-class as you can get) to the point it was harming my already subpar health, it was just “enough is enough.” Those were just a couple of instances.

When you have drunk driving killers, murderers, rapists and other trash that becomes routine in your ‘hood, something is very, very wrong (especially when they’re not supposed to be in this country). When you have people insisting we should be tolerant and accommodating to these individuals by enlightened elites who seem to live in areas where they’d never personally put up with it if it was in their face, the reaction can rightfully boil over to rage. I could’ve delivered that same speech Trump did, and with a lot more colorful metaphors thrown in that would make him sound like the Pope.

As for Megyn Kelly/Erick Erickson, I already hashed out that discussion with another FReeper who took your position on the matter. I followed it from the moment Erickson let loose with the claim, and I know what his intent was, and to use it to drive a nail into Trump’s candidacy and elevate his idol, El Jebbe. He lost, and Kelly’s credibility was obliterated by that disgusting campaign debate performance of hers. I’m frankly enjoying watching Trump expose and destroy the establishment hacks and flunkies. It’s about time we take no prisoners.

Trump has indeed had to do business with evil individuals, such as the Clintons, Dingy Reid, et al. By that reckoning, he also knows where the bodies are buried, and that none of these people now want him anywhere near the Presidency. It’s so very telling.

I think he has already gone too far and invested too much of himself to pull out now. He’s absolutely needed to get this country back on the right course, and a VERY firm hand is needed, and with apologies to Teddy Roosevelt, he needs to continue to speak loudly AND carry a big stick. He’s the person to forge a new dynamic in this nation with a new coalition of voters from across the spectrum. People respect a real winner, and he is certainly that, and he stands a great shot at getting the kinds of votes that many Republicans cannot (so long as they’re stuck in their gutless weasel, apologize for being right mode).

Other than Cruz, whom I reiterate I will vote for in the primary (unless he drops out), this is the first person I’ve been excited to vote for in a general election since I got the vote, and this will be my 7th Presidential vote. The first 5 were simply to stop the Democrat criminals, the 6th was to stop the bipartisan criminal cabal, but the 7th will be for the man whom I believe will deliver the death blow to that bipartisan cabal. I hope within a year you’ll be on board (if he’s the nominee).

God bless you and yours as well.

BE, was that a Rolling Stones reference in there? I know we can’t always get what we want but how about some sympathy for the devil?
