The most important part of the ability to mint gold coins, is the acquisition of gold. It seems to me that the ISIS business model is sorely lacking on this part of it.

Possibly not entirely true. They could try selling to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, though Rick Harrison is know to be a tough cookie. I can see it all now:

Pretty coin. I think the dinar is prettier, but that's a personal opinion and certainly not a matter of fact. And the dinar has been around for a while.
Of course nothing is quite so beautiful as Walking Liberty. I have one of those in my pocket right now. ;)

I hate to say it, but ISIS may have a point, though, about the confiscation of American’s wealth, via systematic, intentional debasement of the currency, following Roosevelt’s nationalization of gold.
