This turnaround can be directly attributed to the fact that Trump has mastered the power of social media. With his millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook, he now has the power to circumvent the mainstream media and get his message out directly. Also, Trump has been having several press conference/rally events every week and these are being put up on YouTube and other alternative media.
So Trump has taken away the ability of the mainstream media to define who he is. This is the reason his favorable ratings have exploded. People discovered on their own during July and August that Trump is not the bogeyman or clown that the mainstream media made him out to be.
No, it’s not amazing. What do you want to bet that Trump read every classic about the art of warfare before he began this? I’ll bet he started the day after he decided his first run wasn’t ready yet.
It is a JOY to watch someone whom I can honestly say I don’t have to worry about being blindsided, hoodwinked, bamboozled, threatened, blackmailed, etc., etc. This is a candidate that, if he fails, fails on his own terms. He gives me the impression that he is in this to win, that he will give it his all, and that if he does win GOOD things will happen. That’s all I need to know.
This is why we see him on the road repeating himself. More and more are getting to hear him for the first time in these states and regions. It’s quite a wave, isn’t it?
