I have some Carson types in my family who were also all-in for Santorum. I absolutely do not get it. But they’re big-city-dwelling Evangelicals, maybe they have some racial harmony dream I don’t know about.
Carson’s a fantastic guy, and should be in the cabinet, but POTUS? He’s a Dr, for God’s sake’s, not a pool guy!
Oh, and, hate the DesMoines Register all you want (I do), they hit last November mid-terms accurately when everybody else was off 5 Senate seats at a minimum on election night.

I don’t he was just a doctor. Brain surgeon that pulled off major break thru accomplishments in his field. organized teams of high expertise people to accomplish these tasks. not much different than what needs to be done in DC. — i mean the Brain surgery part.
