For years, Rubin has been lecturing conservatives to stop with the purity tests. Rubin says gay marriage and illegal immigration are good for America.

Now Rubin is demanding conservative purity test for Trump

Not like Trump can unilaterally do anything. These articles paint a dictator imposing his will on the people. Trump already listens to advisors, would he do less as President?

It is amazing, isn’t it? Jonah at NRO has another hit piece on Trump. They have zero material.

“Now Rubin is demanding conservative purity test for Trump”

I hear that everywhere — people sniffing around and saying that Trump is not a conservative. Did people ask that about Romney four years ago? Romney was definitely not the most conservative. They accuse Trump of changing positions on issues. Is there a politician who has not changed positions on issues? And if Trump has changed positions, they want to run and find out when. They have already decreed that six years is not a sufficient length of time to cleanse a heart of heresy. I remember William F. Buckley commenting on George W. Bush. George W Bush, he explained was conservative, but not a conservative. He was partly right, George W was not even conservative.

Sounds more like Rubin needs an agenda purity test - false meme with the taxes on car companies. How about you submit to a purity test while we're at it:

Which candidate do you contribute to?

How often do you contribute to FR?

What are you doing to become a positive part of the solution instead of just being a negative Nelly who pays lip service but does nothing positive or substantial for any cause?

Answer the questions satisfactorily and you get respect and attention -else, you get a few remarks and nobody pays any real attention.

Rubin is “severely conservative”, like Willard.
