Cruz was born in Canada of an American mother who was old enough to confer American citizenship on
him, and he got his birth certificate at the American embassy there. His father was a naturalized citizen.
As you know, American embassies in foreign lands are American soil.
Sort of like John McCain, who was born in Panama. His parents were both American citizens as well.
So he is a NBC, too.
Cruz’s father did NOT become a naturalized U.S. Citizen until after Cruz was born.
