Um, non sequitur.
Being past the time for a human solution does not mean being past the time for a divine solution to the good, acknowledging of course that it will not last forever on the surface of this temporary earth.
Christians often have this weak way of wringing their hands. Christ asked, when he returns, will there be faith on the earth. I think he was implying that no, there won’t be (in any significant sense).
By “past the time for a human solution”, I mean a humane one devised by humans. The strong man - or all out world war - will solve the problem, but it will hurt a bit. Which again brings us to bible prophesy and our current events.
