Bull. I never was forced to be friends with people. The whiney racist blacks (who did indeed exist in the military) were never my friends. The friends I’m talking about were actual Americans—first.

Are you saying they’re ALL there because we’ve been forced to accept them?

That’s crazy talk.

The blacks I knew in the 1957 - 1961 Army Security Agency fit right in, were part of the team and did well while on duty. In off duty Japan, they went their separate ways and did whatever they preferred to do. There was never any racial incidents that I knew of.

One qualifier; These ASA members were all fairly high IQ types, many with some college under their belts or even with degrees. Everything was as smooth as silk.
