His actions were not caused by racism, the gun, 9/11 or even the Confederate flag. He was one mentally sick puppy. 50 years ago he would have been institutionalized. But now that is considered inhuman. The victims are, in the eyes of the enlightened members of our society just collateral damage.

He did not have a face friendly to on-air personalities. More in the butt ugly line.

It’s not just that he was mentally ill. He was encouraged by our new society that told him nothing was his fault. He also needed to watch a few of the gay guys tied to chairs getting thrown off the roof videos out there. If it sank in it may have lessened his support for islamic terrorism.

Yes, he was mentally ill. But his illnesses are widespread in society these days. Take his accusations of racism, which were based on a complete misreading of his colleagues’ words and actions. In the comboxes after the murders, quite a few people thought it likely that the victims set themselves up for what happened because they were INSENSITIVE to him. That’s where we are as a society.
