I guess she was “Mau-Maued” for being in a Mau Mau neighborhood; unless there is a dire need, I don’t know why anyone would be exposed anywhere the wild animals can set upon them. If you are driving, never stop at a store; if walking, time to start looking for a trailer for rent in a more civilized settlement (rather than living in an area “de-colonized” by Europeans).
