Trump doesn’t speak in fractions
With Trump everything that isn’t “fabulous” is “stupid.” Precious little in between.

Of course, Thomas Sowell’s insight about “the cost of knowledge” explains why the rest of us frequently have trouble discerning which category to put a lot of things in . . .

The salient point being, of course that his style of discourse is a wrecking ball for PC.

And, possibly, other things as well. Forgive the comparison, but I am put in mind of something Hayek noted in The Road to Serfdom. He of course famously compared Soviet Communism with National Socialism. But one difference he noted was that the internal logic of the latter drove it to make arbitrary decisions (to a non-NAZI, seemingly gratuitously), and then to lash itself to the mast defending them.

Now that would bear watching . . .

The polls bear that out. Supporters get it. Trump wreaks havoc on Alinsky. What was tacky wordsmithing in the past, may inject Americans with courage again to stand up and roar. God, I hope so.

Our candidates have got to stop playing by the Rules of Radicals, to go along and get along with radicals. There are no rewards for it, it doesn’t work for Republicans and it is not LEADERSHIP. Look at Boehner for the example of what not to do.
