“We had nothing to lose by liking Trump”

Other than losing the Presidency in 2016, you’re right. You really had nothing to lose.

You know he’ll lose because in fact people LOVE being overrun with invaders who hate us. Americans love being second class citizens in our own country. We LOVE having the economy sucked dry by illegals who receive far more gov benefits than the average US citizen. We positively LOVE being raped and murdered, and having our children raped, and facing a never-ending flow of infectious diseases, and singlehandedly propping up the gov of Mexico while it and its illegal invaders bad mouth us.

I could go on. But the point is, Trump is bound to lose bc US citizens are gung ho to see their country reduced to a third world hellhole. Smart people like you know that only too well.

Um... What do you mean? There was no “win” for conservatives. Either a Dem or a GOPe is no win. It is obvious Ted Cruz wasn’t going to be our nominee. I was sick of this echo chamber in FR thinking a real conservative ever had a chance. There is a chance for Trump, and if Cruz is his Veep, that’s the best Cruz will be able to do.
