I pray either POTUS Trump or Cruz tells Roberts & Kennedy they’re retiring as soon as they’re told to.

Then elevate either Thomas or Alitio to Chief Justice. I love Scalia, but he’s pushing 80. He can be the de facto/co-CJ; I have zero problems with that.

Then nominate 3 ACTUAL Conservatives to the bench.

Step 2 to saving what’s left of the country will be complete. But step 1, a POTUS with balls being elected, has to happen first.

Great points, but not if a Democrat wins the White House.

Clarence Thomas doesn’t want to be Chief Justice. He doesn’t want to relive that Anita Hill crap, which is the biggest case of political libel in my lifetime. In any case, John Roberts isn’t going anywhere.

Republicans have gotten better at nominating conservatives over the years, but still haven’t gotten it entirely right. There are a few names to look for if Republicans win back the White House next year.
