A by-product of the more general self-esteem movement. Yep. In our bizarro world , fat is synonymous with "real woman" . And they protest too much about their "curves". And post nauseating , inspirational, "chicken soup for the soul" memes about how they deserve a prince and will love with all their heart blah , blah.
