One trope we keep hearing about in the media is how black parents need to have "the talk" with their sons, all to perpetuate the myth that police shoot innocent black kids just for the fun of it on a daily basis. In reality, it is non-blacks who need to have "the talk" to protect their children from inner-city hoodlums
Sure; I don’t want my children to be unreported casualties in this race war. Last Halloween my oldest (a teenager) was going out with his friends, and I explained to him that if there was any issues with cops (due to regular Halloween-type mischief) he was to make sure the cop could see his hands. He is white, the cop probably would be as well, but I still had to have the talk DeBlasio thinks is only reserved for young negro victims...
One aspect of this story that sickens me is that if it wasn’t during a live broadcast it would be buried along with many similar stories.
