Okay.....if I was gonna spitball this, I’d posit the theory of a crime of passion. First find out if the on-air reporter was married or involved with someone. Then I’d check into the camera man about relationships, connections or work with the on-air reporter “off camera.”

Yes, in a longer version of the video there were no other people around, because it was so early in the a.m. That suggests it was planned not spontaneous. I don't think he had a beard, but he was definitely dressed in very dark or black clothing.

Apparently he made a getaway -- I'd look at any surrounding surveillance video to try to get a make on a possible getaway vehicle.

Well yeah he got away. Why there were 40-50 officers on the scene shortly thereafter looking about for a suspect.

Not to be rude, but I cannot help but mention it’s highly likely the cops already figured out looking at any surveillance video in the area would be a fairly smart thing to do.....
