Well, I guess the threats were serious.
I do believe that if you actually threaten employees, we might could have a firearms-cooling-off period. You make threats, prosecuted threats, and we could take your guns for a minute.
The problem with that is who reports the threats. It would become a he-said-she-said situation, and if they side with the accused, and the accused decides to go postal, they could be sued for inaction against a threat.
That’s the very definition of slippery slope.
