That is exactly the position Ted Cruz held in 2011, he's on the record stating at length that birthright citizenship is constitutional.
You can't unring that bell.
If we’re going to play the quote game from 3 years ago, then here’s Trump calling Romney and GOP “mean-spirited” and “maniacal” for wanting to deport millions of illegals
You can’t unring that bell.
Cruz made another mistake stating he’d streamline legal immigration.
Legal immigrants cause a lot of crime in this country. He is given multiple opportunities to walk back his H1B visa 500% expansion and doesn’t do it. Maybe he thinks it’s too early.
I do like what he’s doing for people facing non-violent religious persecution in this country as well as many other issues
Cruz is simply weak on immigration. If illegal and legal immigration reform is your main issue, then conservatives are going to have to swallow that bitter pill and see if he will deliver the goods in the Senate.
He said there’s bipartisan support for a few key reforms, so why wait until 2017?
I was not aware of a change in Ted Cruz’s position on BC...
We can’t “unring” the bell, but being men, it’s possible to reconsider our positions and change our views...
I suspect Ted may have seen the light and changed his position...I give him credit for that...
