Everyone, including FR folks, trashed Romney when he said let them self-deport. Still the best initial idea--remove the jobs and freebies and many will leave. Then, forcefully deport the rest.

The equally troubling refrain is that there are only 11-12 million illegal aliens in the country. Our eyes tell a different story, which is that there is likely 30-60 million illegal aliens in the US. Everywhere you go places are infested and overcrowded with Mexicans and others, English is rarely spoken.

I hear a lot of Espanol spoken in WalMart in Williston, North Dakota when I am in there. It didn't used to be that way, and these folks aren't here hoeing sugar beets.
