Why not just come out and say "I'm an old fart" while he's (or she's) at it? Look, I have sympathy for your point of view, but the reality is social media can no longer be ignored by any candidate who desires to win.

Perhaps they could come out and say something about whining to the world, but not the person.

It is possible to have some decorum on Social media.
