If Trumps goes into the general election as the GOP nominee, and peels off significant numbers in the white female or black demographic (or combination thereof), Hispanics will bail on the Democrats. There’s no natural affinity for the old, white college-educated losers who couldn’t function in a market-based economy. It’s a protection racket, and when the protection can’t be afforded any longer, it’s over.
Now we have switched to the black and white female vote to divert from this?
I see no proof that the college kid vote will be won by Trump anytime soon.
Secondly, the “college kids are a bust” talk has been ongoing among Republicans.
Now they will suddenly vote for Trump along with black voters? That meme really worked well in 2012 after the economy did squat for them from 2008 until 2102.
2014 was a repeat of 2010 as there was lower turnout among blacks, college kids and Hispanics anyway.
And single, white, female voters (married, white, female voters are usually good for Republicans anyway) are going to flock for Trump in record numbers to offset this super-high negative among Hispanics?
