I agree. He’s able to highlight effectively some important issues. But then, due to his vanity, he gets into these bouts of name calling, pettiness, and scorched earth approach to others that is neither necessary or dignified. It’s little wonder he’s been married three times. His temperament seems like that of a professional wrestler or an adolescent with hurt feelings out to get revenge. He seems not to understand that the Highest Office in the land has an expectation higher than a vulgarian.
If some of the posts in this thread are to be believed (and I tend to believe this), Kelly made a fresh error, in the form or misrepresenting Trump or one of his positions, as part of discussion with a guest on her program. I would not characterize that as a by gone.
I happen to have no problem with Trump responding, but I can respect those who feel that responding to incessant press errors is not presidential. Partly in Trump's defense, he's not president, and I think it is fine for a candidate to show more public elbows than a president would. He's fighting for the job, not presently holding it.
