Cruz.
And Trump may sound more forceful on illegals, but (a) look at his past statements on the issue (calling Romney’s position “crazy” and “mean-spirited”) and (b) look at even some of his recent statements (where he has waffled a bit on what he plans to do with the “good” illegals who are currently here).
Trump may have the fiery rhetoric, but Cruz has the sting, consistent positions and track record.
Cruz is my choice, but I’ve been concerned because he has not said anything specific about illegals. He’s just said to bring in more H1-B workers without explaining why. I assume it’s because our workers cannot do the jobs because of the dumbing-down in our education system. That i could understand, but I’d like to hear hum say it. And say what he’ll do with the illegals here - he could very well be for amnesty since he hasn’t been forthcoming.
But there’s plenty of time, he’s rising in the polls, and Trump is forcing everyone to state their plans. I hope that if Trump fades, Cruz is the beneficiary of his supporters.
