One of the HUGE upsides to retiring after 36 years with the same company was NEVER having to go to another diversity training class.
Keep my head down (at work, in the world, it's on a swivel), mouth shut, and firearms loaded. Of course, I'm now a protected class (over 40), but in the protected class ranks, that's like starting the Indy 500 5 laps down and racing in 2nd gear.
I don't. I'm 63 and I work for myself. I don't talk politics with (most) customers. Only the ones that agree with me, i.e. the really smart ones.
