I’m not talking about what’s right, I’m talking about what’s smart NOW. Scott Walker has countered many sacred cows in Wisconsin and I can easily see this as one he would attack at president.
“Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virture”
I’m sure we all remember who said those wise words?
IOW, what is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. No equivocation is needed, no parsing of words, just tell the truth, like that billionaire guy from New York that is scaring the sh*t out of the RINO establishment.
The one who brings a bone, carries a bone. In other words, if he is going to be “smart” by being murky to enemies, he will be “smart” by being murky to you, eventually. Better to demand clarity, honesty, and follow-through.
I don’t disagree with you.
Two things can be true at the same time. Walker is, I believe, correct that securing the borders of the nation stops cold the anchor babies phenomenon from Mexico and South America. STOPS COLD, should mean something to the argument, as it applies to ILLEGALS.
However, because it is equally true that we are being worked over by the Chinese in the very same manner, but who come into our country legally to bear babies as anchors for the future is another design of the same abuse.
As for Walker, it is possible that although he is competent and has even been cutting edge on conservative action in Wisconsin, that he is still wet behind the ears on national and international issues, exhibiting a need to buff up on his learning curve, lest he be seen as having a weak grasp on the monstrous and weighty issues of the United States of America.
Walker is on a learning curve and it has started to show.
But his funders are all pro-amnesty and pro-open borders for cheap labor—which means we’d never even see the border secured in a Walker presidency.
