It appears that Trump's got those guys by the gonads. As Richard Nixon observed, their hearts and minds are bound to follow.
They had better include the man into the debates. Trump made a serious comment in AL and it could cost him.

“I wish the election were today” (OK I would also if I were you)
“We dont need and election” (SAY WHAT?!)
I hope he was saying that in jest and had better make it clear it was in jest, or it will hurt him.
