There is great value in historical investigation and education, but a monomaniacal focus of such intensity that it usurps the Jewish identity is unhealthy.

Of course, we know the approximate number killed in the “H” word & we know the Ten Commandments, also that there are SO many laws & regulations that no human being can keep them perfectly, not you, not I.

I know what a sukkah is and it sounds lovely & restful; a privilege I haven’t had in life.

It is up to YOU to study & free YOURSELF from this intense focus on the “H” word. If you go to a synagogue that majors on it more than you like - then GET OUT & find some other synagogue or temple less focused on the “H” word, where you get the worship that you feel you need & can talk about things more germaine to your needs.
