interesting. I did not know any (alleged) foodstuffs could NOT be purchased with food stamps or whatever. If I were the manager in charge of a firm whose food product was not ‘eligible’ for purchase with food stamps, I’d probably be lobbying the heck out of Congress to get it Okayed, too.

No different than lobster and filet mignon.

But, why should America spend more to buy Oreos for food needy people? About 50 million households on foodstamps, Oreo’s about $3 a pack, and one pack a month equals 1,800,000,000 gross a year. What if it’s a pack a week?

That’s some big government benefit. And you know that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Hands in our pockets.
