So the question is....
From 1980s-2010’s was Trump just being cagey about his political views to better serve his business, pretending to be in the middle on some issues, left on some, mushy right on others, while being a “closet conservative” to the point where Obama was elected and a few years later he finally came out because he was seeing the country he loved so much go to hell?
But this story adds a point to the plus side of my personal “Trump ledger”.
Trump is now somewhere in my TOP HALF of the potential GOP pres candidates.

Exactly, I feel Donald has been watching our country in a downspiral spin and not one dam politicians from both parties are doing a thing about it.
If this country falls so does Donald’s empire. I also truly believe he loves this country.
I think Donald notice alot about Ted Cruz during that government shutdown. That is why I believe both are working together.
Your right, he may have played along with political views in order to serve his business. Donald is not stupid. Remember Donald lives in New York City, a pretty much liberal. It is sad but that is how it is played. If Donald was just one sided especially against the liberals - would his business have prosper the way it has? Who knows - just my thought. =)
