Thank you for going. Of course it would be great to have big crowds, but small crowds are better than no crowds at all.

If you are doing counseling, remember that most of these women are already traumatized. They really need someone to listen to their stories. Listening is the first step.
Bemidji, Minnesota-Someone in the crowd said there were about 120 people, the local paper said about 75 people. The timing would have been about the same. I believe there were more like 120. Even had a gentlemen from Canada, now working in Kelliher, MN join us at the end.
Traumatized is an understatement, but it’s the best word we’ve got for it :(
I did some peer counselling in a crisis pregnancy center years ago but somehow I think this on the spot deal is likely to be very different.
I hope they have some sort of training.

Everybody I spoke with today was relieved that this door has even been opened. Not only is the practice of harvesting parts disgusting, but people seem to be having their eyes opened to how horrible abortion itself, is.
For those who have tirelessly fought this battle in one capacity or another for absolutely years, what’s happening right now is a HUGE deal! It’s like a huge hole has been broken in that brick wall, finally.
I personally like to think that Almighty YHVH has made that possible, that his hand is in this. And for that, I’m grateful.

I’m chagrined that I missed the whole thing—just oblivious—but I’ve contacted the local organizers and asked them to put me on their e-mail list so I’ll know about future protests. This is how change is effected: continuing protests over time, with more people turning out as they become aware of the issue. Those videos are doing more for the pro-life cause than anything else I can imagine. Didn’t you love Bobby Jindal playing the videos on huge screens outside the governor’s mansion when the pro-abortion protestors showed up there?
