Is Trump going to get himself on the ballot everywhere? Remember when Gingrich failed to get on the Virginia ballot because they found some of the signatures he collected were fakes.

The benchmarks:
Campaign is over if:

Walker does not win Iowa handily

Kasich does not win NH

Jeb does not win Florida

Rand does not win Utah

Cruz does not win SC or AL

Why Utah for Rand? I would think Nevada.

If Walker wins Iowa, his campaign's not over, whether it's "handily" or not.

18 primaries happen before Florida. Jeb could be out of the game well before Florida if he doesn't win any. I think he almost has to win New Hampshire, the RINO primary.

I would say anyone who can't win any of the first 4, Iowa, NH, SC or NV is out. Unless they consistently came in 2nd in 3 out of 4.

He isn’t a GOP candidate, he’s a Jeb-endorsing Democrat.

I meant NV not UT, you are right.

Walker’s campaign loses lot of steam if he can’t win a neighboring state. He lead the polls in IA for several months.

If that were the case, the GOP wouldn't be trying to figure out how to get rid of Trump.

So tell me Nick, just out of curiosity if the choice in November 2016 comes down to Trump on the GOP ticket vs whoever the 'RATS put up, or in another scenario, let's say it IS Jeb on the GOP ticket, a 'RAT and Trump as a third party.

Who do you vote for, or do you stay home?

Who says they are? Only the Trump media people are. I think the GOP is enjoying this. They have been trying to get rid of the Tea Party for years, and now they get to watch Trump nuke the Tea Party out of existence. I think they know Trump won't really run, but they'd be happy if he did. He's their ideal candidate, even better for them than Jeb. He doesn't care about any issues. Trump is basically the living embodiment off the GOPe, except his personality issues, which they realize dupes a certain percentage of the conservative. He is the GOP's ideal frankencandidate.

If it was any combination of Hillary/Jeb/Trump I stay home or vote for some conservative alternative. What would you do? Trump would fiscally ruin the U.S. and allow radical Muslims to attack this country.

But the fact bis Trump doesn't want to be president. He just wants the ego trip. He has no desire to be president. Plus, how is he going to raise the money? First, he doesn't have enough to run for president. Secondly, Trump is stupid enough to spend his own money running for president. That's major league stupid.

Anyway, if it was Trump vs. Hillary, Hillary would probably get 70%. If he was actual in the general the media would actually reveal a lot of things about Trump. He would become a national laughingstock.

I would vote for the candidate that I believed would best defend and repair our Nation from 16 years of Uniparty behavior, whether benign neglect or malevolent intent. I don't see how you conclude that Trump would "allow radical Muslims to attack this country" Where do you get that from? As for "fiscally ruining us", what do you think the current Obamunist regime has done? That train has left the station.

Unfortunately, voting for alternative conservatives is nothing but a protest vote which won't effect the electoral results, it feels good for the one casting the vote, but it essentially upholds the status quo.

We had the same deplorable Hobson's Choice in 2012, nobody liked Romney, he was never any conservative's first choice or ANY choice for the nomination but the GOPe railroaded us and I resolved to vote the GOP ticket, because the alternative was to basically rubber stamp another 4 years of the Obamanation of Desolation. Our Founder JimRob faced the same choice, and I know he was no fan of Romney or any RINO, but he came out and said he would support the GOP ticket, only because Obama and his motley crew had to be disposed of, and the only avenue that had a chance, was to vote the damn GOP ticket.

So the question in retrospect regarding the 2012 election is "are we better off today with Obama still in the White House, than if Romney had been elected?"

I submit the answer is no. The difference may well have been between heading for the cliff at 100 mph, vs heading for the cliff at 50 mph, but that is now a moot point. But I cannot believe that we would be worse off under Romney than we are now under Obama.

In the current situation, I look at the enemies Trump has made with his campaign to this early point, he's got all the right people hating his guts, the RNC, the leftist media, every RINO from sea to shining sea, he has stripped the bark off every one of the little bastards who have been masquerading as 'conservatives' (Eric Erickson anyone? Charles Krauthammer, et al?), and he has been unafraid to speak his mind, call it what it is, and that goes a long way for many Americans who are sick and tired of the politically correct horseshit and the facade of 'RAT vs RINO that the Rovian GOP tries to pull on us each and every time, just like Lucy and Charlie Brown with the football. Look at the results of the 2014 elections, voters sent a clear message to the GOP which was "if we give you control of the House and Senate, we expect you to put the brakes on this Obamunist regime!" and what happened?

The Boner & McConnell cowards couldn't sell us out fast enough, and they've been kissing Obama's ass ever since.

Trump is the game changer this time, he is beholden to no one, he can't be bought, and if Senator Ted Cruz, who is a conservative's conservative has had little if anything negative to say about Donald Trump, that speaks volumes for me.

We've had 8 years of Obama and you want Obama Part II? An unvetted socialist narcissist?

Still doesn't matter, because he has no intention of running.

Are you serious Nick? On what do you base that on?

Plus, how is he going to raise the money? First, he doesn't have enough to run for president. Secondly, Trump is stupid enough to spend his own money running for president. That's major league stupid.

The man is worth 10+ billion dollars. You don't amass that kind of wealth by being "major league stupid". Most Americans admire someone who is willing to put their money where their mouth is, which is exactly what Trump is doing.

Anyway, if it was Trump vs. Hillary, Hillary would probably get 70%. If he was actual in the general the media would actually reveal a lot of things about Trump. He would become a national laughingstock.

The media has been throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Trump, with a wink and a nudge from the GOP-RINO establishment, and his poll numbers just keep climbing.

And you think Hillary would get 70% vs Trump!??

Nick, I got to ask: what are you smokin' man?!? LOL

Let me get this straight, you maintain that there is no difference between Obama and Trump?

Still doesn't matter, because he has no intention of running.

The thousands of people in Mobile Alabama last night might just take issue with you Nick.

Who cares. They are both surrender-monkey RINOs. Every vote for the Jeb/Trump axis is a vote for Democrats.

Are you really Karl Rove?

It will be interesting to see who ends up in that seat then, as much as I (and everyone else) despises him, it could end up going to Alan Grayson (D-Deranged).
