I misspoke about the go fund me campaign. I went with what I was told instead of verifying. However, it was a tongue in cheek move by a Senator so the Governor could get his 300 million in revenue he was demanding.
And the raiding of the BP money is correct.

Wow. That would even be suggested by a gov. Thanks for the link...reading now. Yeah, BP was a free for all. Louisiana was inundated with radio and tv ads for payouts, “even if you weren’t affected by the BP spill.” WTH?!
