As of September, the country got 29.8 percent of its electricity from renewables, 34.4 percent from nuclear, and only 34.4 percent from fossil fuels. Scotland hopes to generate the equivalent of 100 percent of its electricity from renewables by 2020 and to export non-renewable production from conventional power plants to countries like England.
Even the 29.8% renewables is not entirely wind. Renewables are many things besides wind; solar, tidal, alcohol, etc.

As of September (2014), the country got 29.8 percent of its electricity from renewables,Considering that this is coming from a lefty source (Think Progress), even that % is probably exaggerated. I wonder how much of the 29.8% is actually generated from standby sources that kick in when the wind doesn't blow.
Also, renewables include hydropower in addition to wind and solar. If it is as much as 10%, I'd be surprised.

This was one position I hadn’t researched yet and would’ve been a deal-breaker for me.It shouldn't be a 'deal-breaker' because there are far more important issues out there. However, belief in AGW is a clear indication of stupidity and blind crowd-following.... so it at least is a fabulous guide to use on who has some brains, who can think for him/herself and is unafraid to declare their position regardless of the consequences.
