Based on the quotation marks, the caucusgoers said “What?” and Thornton said “That was a big mistake.”
The original article, in the Des Moines Register, has a lot of interesting quotes and perspective from people all across the GOP and conservative spectrum.
I did read the Des Moines article. It stated it the same way. (That’s where Polutico pulled the “quote” from.)
Fool Thornton said it was a “boondoggle”, then he went on to say that the CAUCUSGOERS said it was a “big mistake”.
Here’s the quote...
The caucusgoers are like, What? That was a big mistake, Thornton told the Register.
If it were Thornton saying that, it should read...
The caucusgoers are like, What? “That was a big mistake, Thornton told the Register
See the difference? Or, it could be a poorly written quote by a CommieCore educated reporter :)
Regardless, this fool has no business even yapping with the Register.
