Count me among them. He will be on the ballot come election day and I intend to vote for him.

So you are positive that he's had a Reaganesque transformation from liberal to conservative?

We need competence and leadership in the WH. America also needs an unabashed patriot cheerleader who will restore the confidence of a nation depressed by Obama who is ashamed of this country and apologizes to the world for our alleged crimes.

1. "The Perfect is the enemy of the Good." Gen. George Patton, Jr.

The understanding of this concept is why the Dems control politics in this country. They accept the less-than-perfect so long as they are loyal. They have the patience to understand that they will achieve their goals eventually, even if Candidate X isn't the perfect mechanism to achieve it right this second. Time for conservatives with a long-term view to adopt this philosophy if we hope to restore the America that we once knew.

2. In order to have any effect upon policy, you have to gain office. Ideologically perfect losers are merely interesting footnotes to history.

FYI, I support Ted Cruz...but Trump looks like a very clear winner at this point, and if he takes Cruz as Veep or in some other key position, then the lack of conservative purity is not as important to me.
