Our nation's Capitol didn't have a major league baseball team for the next 33 years until the Capitols came into being. So now they may be without an NFL team for the next 33 years? Way to go, DC!

You might be younger than me, but the original Washington Senators left in 1961 and became the Minnesota Twins. A few years later, the American league expanded and issued a new franchise in Washington who took the name Senators. They lasted for a while and then moved to Texas and became the Rangers. Now they have the team from Montreal.. We'll see how long that lasts.

Why the heck do the Redskins need a new stadium? The one in PG County is a good location and not that old. What is it with teams wanting new stadiums every 10-15 years anyway? If they do, let them buy the land and build it themselves, withOUT any taxpayer dollars involved.
