I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.
I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.
I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.
The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.
As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.
I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time. Josh Duggar

I meant you. But on the other hand, many decent people are deceived in real life.
This probably isn’t going to convince his supporters on FR. Standing by to be told it was all the fault of the women.

They must still be “standing by”. I haven’t seen a bunch of JOSH supporters come in and say “it was all the fault of the women”. But then I don’t normally see things that aren’t there.

He also regularly cheated on his wife. So what! 50% of marriages end in divorce anyway.

Twice. And single girls getting pregnant is the single biggest cause for abortion, which is the most evil imaginable. Although Bristol did not abort, she is keeping the out-of-wedlock children fatherless; it is disgusting. Could be worse, I guess.

Jared was also playing around with kiddy porn on his computer. It remains to be seen whether or not he had harmed any children yet. Since he is pleading guilty there may have been a deal worked out and we will never know what else they had on him.
I’m glad his wife did the right thing to protect her children from him and is getting a divorce. He shouldn’t be around children.
I don’t think Josh’s wife will leave him however. What do you think? I don’t believe her religion allows for divorce.
The only thing I don’t understand is if he likes little girls, why was he on this we site looking for grown women?
That is a good question but I think his access to them was probably limited as no one trusted him. I don’t believe this is over. He may be also into kiddie porn for all we know. Nothing would surprise me but he is his wife’s problem now.
At least the rest of the world knows to keep their kids away from him.I don’t think we’ll be seeing him on reality tv anytime soon.
