Caitlyn Jenner could face a manslaughter charge following her car accident in Malibu that left one dead.
The case will be submitted to the district attorney next week, Lt. Shaun Mathers of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department said.
Detectives are set to present evidence to the prosecution that could lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against Jenner. Because theres nothing really egregious in the case, Det. Richard Curry of the L.A. County Sheriffs Dept. said theres a 50/50 chance that she will be charged.
A misdemeanor manslaughter charge usually carries a one-year jail sentence.
More to come.
After watching the video, I saw no effort by Jenner to turn the wheel away from oncoming traffic. What was sheit doing—putting on makeup?
See post# 40.
Same question to you.
I think it was a cross-over.
Well, maybe it was Bruce’s sister Caitlyn driving? Or someone.
It's obvious Bruce was NOT paying attention when the woman in front of him slowed down (wrongfully).. He nudged her into oncoming traffic and BOOM, she died instantly in part due to her age.
That’s a MAN baby
I think I put Jenner in the wrong car. Whoever was in the white car did not do much to avoid the head-on collision.
After seeing the video it sure looks like Jenner is at fault.
I think he was afraid his trailer would jack-knife, but that’s only because he was NOT paying attention in a manner timely enough to work his vehicle w/trailer around the woman in front of him who had stopped to turn left. SHE was in the wrong but so was he/she.
Not guilty by reason of insanity.
I don’t think all accidents are prosecuted...probably only a very small fraction of them.
You mentioned drug use. What about texting? Following too close? Speeding? It could be argued that this lady would be alive today if:....Bruce hadn’t been following too close, speeding, etc.
How about driving when too tired? A truck driver has been charged on multiple counts for killing a man and severely injuring a comedian (Tracey Morgan) when he fell asleep. It was just an accident, right?
I don’t know the exact circumstances of Bruce Jenner’s accident. But, if he was hauling a trailer and tailgating somebody too close, its not just an accident...its reckless.
She was an elderly woman who probably had extremely poor judgment and reaction time and should not have been driving anyway. Like my mom. LOL
..which isn't an excuse anyway.
Swearing in on the stand should be interesting, since he’s required under penalty of perjury to state his full legal name, not what he prefer people call him.
I believe there were reports of him using his phone and possibly texting at the time, which would legitimately make it involuntary manslaughter.
This is one of the dangers of a man becoming a woman - texting too much and losing all his driving skills.
Did you EVER drink a cup of coffee, eat something, tune your radio, roll down the window, adjust your mirror, glance at the GPS while driving.
If you ever did any of those things and happened to rear-end a car in that split second, or moved a wee bit into the other lane of traffic...etc and cause an accident then you would be the one who killed someone through negligence.
There but for the grace of God.....
Was He/She driving a Trans-Am?
Good one.
Here is a computer animation version of the accident. It shows that Jenner rear-ended two cars. It makes me believe that Jenner was not the best one to be driving a trailer.

And locked in which prison?
