I agree, I was just laying out the argument that they could be stripped of their citizenship even IF they were determined to be natural born citizens. All that is needed is for congress to pass the appropriate law.

That's the argument that they can't win. Okay. If lawmakers insist the Anchor Babies are US citizens by birth, parents here illegally have three choices:

1. Leave and take any minor children with them.

2. Leave and make verifiable arrangements to leave their Anchor Babies with a US citizen guardian that will provide for them until age 18.

3. Anchor Babies become wards of the state and can be emancipated after age 16 if they can prove they are self supporting.
