He actually first said that original intent is important but then decided that precedent is everything ( even precedent that does not cite the 14th apparently! ). Hannity was speechless. He even put the damn words on the screen. Amazing!
This subject is going to get real good.
Political Correctness vs Integrity
Cowards vs Courage
Yoo is from Berzerkly U. Yoo who says all the other categories, foreign enemy combatants, ambassadors, et al, are not allowed, but regular foreigners can have anchor babies as US citizens. Uhuh.
The other guy with glasses Rifkin brings up the Chinese laborers, but fails to understand or state that there were treaties at the time bewteen the Emperor of China and the US to treat them as his/her Chinese subjects, and specified they could not be US citizens. However, this is besides the point we are discussing going to the judicial errors in original WKA’s opinion.
Yoo: we may turn back to the terrible times of Dred Scott. Oh man LoL.
The moron Yoo doesn’t understand what Dred Scott was about or state the issue honestly.
And besides the judicial errors in WKA opinion, Justice Gray who wrote the opinion only held that the permanent legal residence of the parents in the US, who were the subjects of China can have children born in the US as citizens. Nowhere does justice Gray hold for aliens with no legal status.
Then in the end BOR speaking with Rubio, who has very little knowledge of the issue, BOR said we can do something about anchor babies with a new federal law. It appears to me BOR contradicted himself. How can he deny birthright citizenship? I think BOR agreed with the two silly professors, which this would, in their opinions, violate the 14th Amendment.
BOR in confusion? Heh.
As time goes on, the Establishment RINOs/DEMs/CoC/Big IT/Open Borders/ crowd are going to be exposed more and more often. It’s really all about getting ill-gotten $$$s.
