GOP Ganging Up to Trounce Trump?
Fox Business ^ | August 19th, 2015 | By Charlie Gasparino, Courtney Crawford

Posted on 08/19/2015 11:27:47 PM PDT by Mariner

Billionaire real estate mogul and presidential candidate Donald Trump continues to dominate the GOP field both in hurling insults at his fellow Republicans and in the polls, but now it appears his rivals have decided that if they’re going down, they’re going down swinging.

The Fox Business Network has learned that at least some of the campaigns are discussing an attack-ads blitz against The Donald in the coming weeks, according to several financial executives who have direct ties to the various campaigns. These people tell Fox Business that the campaigns of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in particular are currently raising money with aims to hit Trump on various issues such as his controversial comments about immigration, as well as his record as a businessman, in these ads.

The campaign of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul may also follow suit, they say. Those likely to stay out of the anti-Trump attacks include Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who has a similar position to Trump on immigration and is looking to siphon some of Trump’s support.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, meanwhile, is expected to spend money from his enormous war chest, which includes more than $100 million in so-called Super PAC money. But the Bush spending is expected to focus on his record in politics and underscore his skills as a candidate rather than in attacking rivals, fundraisers tell Fox Business. Super PACS are fundraising vehicles that can raise unlimited amounts of money but can’t work directly with campaigns.

A coordinated attack that educated the public about what Trump really believes would cause Trump to lose the support of either 1 or 2.

I am seeking the truth about who it is, why do you Trumps supporters find that so offensive?

You just told me you're waiting The professional politicians belonging to the GOP to tell the truth and educate Americans as to what Trump "really believes" in a coordinated attack.

Now it seem you're seeking the truth, but waiting for the professional politicians to educate you in some coordinated attack on Trump? Which is it?

If you are a Trump supporter and heard the pretend interview I depicted above, all you would have heard apparently is “they need to go!” “I support the 2nd amendment!” and “Abortion is terrible!”

Which if I am right is all he wanted you to remember, quick easy to remember sound bites, while hoping you missed all the qualifiers in quietly inserted and refused to expound upon.

"I have no doubt that most liberals “love America” I just disagree with their solutions to our problems."

Well there is the problem in a nutshell. There may be "some" that love America, there may even be a "bunch", but they are the exception.

Liberalism is about equalization, both home and abroad. Neo-Communist Socialists equalizing the serfs to the lowest common denominator financially and spiritually. It is also about equalizing America with the rest of the world, financially and spiritually. They don't love America because "America" doesn't really exist. They are not citizens of America, they are citizens of the world. Kumbaya baby.

You keep obsessing over Trump's lack of details, did you ever think that might be a good thing? We've had nothing but political technicians with encyclopedias full of plans and details, and none of them ever get followed to the letter because of variables and unknowns.

Helmuth von Moltke the Elder, Theory Of War ... "Moltke's main thesis was that military strategy had to be understood as a system of options since only the beginning of a military operation was plannable. As a result, he considered the main task of military leaders to consist in the extensive preparation of all possible outcomes. His thesis can be summed up by two statements, one famous and one less so, translated into English as "No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength" (or "no plan survives contact with the enemy")[3] and "Strategy is a system of expedients"."

This belief has become apocryphal and is better known today as "No plan survives the battlefield". I personally love this because it is pure, brutal, cold, clinical, logical thinking. And most important - IT IS HONEST. Even in poker you have similar thinking: "keep your cards close to your vest" and even "Loose lips sink ships". All of them are sound advice, especially in a political world as full of "gotchas" as this one is.

If this is Trump's operating theory ( I never read his books so I cannot say ), then more power to him. He is doing you and I and everyone else a favor by not building up false hopes and not burning up time wasted on meaningless details that will never see the light of day.

Hopefully their is a small minority of voters that want to get mired down in details as you yourself appears to desire. It is far better that the "leader" sets the agenda and the big picture items and then rounds up the proper people to see this through. He also must be vigilant enough to watch over them and FIRE them when they fail. Who does this sound like?

I hate to point his out, Reagan had big non-specific plans. Creating jobs, tax cuts, military rebuilding, restoring the American spirit. If he had specific details on the campaign trail in 1980 can you honestly imagine that *any*, I mean even a single one would have played out as designed?

You are reaching far for a reason to hate the guy. And you are frustrated that he is not supplying the ammunition. I'd say that he is handling this correctly.

As they say “ The Devil is in the details”

Details?

Have you not seen the decades of details of what Americans have been force fed by this corrupt government, which has caused the American decline across the board. Economy, debt, trade, lawless open borders, reckless costly foreign policies which have literally looted the American treasure. None of this is a secret tex. Did you not see all these details?

Why are you evading the questions in #121 and other posts. You have repeated evaded the questions.

Go ahead, more people need to know the Donald's decisive position on such issues. Sure, a$$holes, help the man, tell the world on your dime. If Trump holds to his statement that he'll spend a billion on his campaign he can, at the drop of a hat, counter attack each and every one of these people and I hope he does. They simply haven't caught on that this guy fights to win. FUGOPe

I have answered you question, now you are just using Trumps technique of Attack, Divert, Reassert.

Attack whoever is questioning you, Divert with some non-sense that everyone agrees on, and then reassert your original point.

Nice, you learned from the master.

But I am on to you and Trump.

Whoever is stupid enough to try this stunt .. will be out of the race within days of the ads.

If they are that clueless .. then let them drop out now and save their reputations, and their money.

I can’t help but wonder if this is another of Karl Rove’s little games .. because his Jebby is not doing too good.

the point is, THEY think they love America.

Take a poll and ask Americans if they love their country? and guess what the yes vote would be? 95%+

That’s my point.

Not true. You've evaded nearly every single question asked. Anyone can read back.

Attack whoever is questioning you

I did not attack you. I simply ask you multiple legitimate questions which you have evaded.

Nice, you learned from the master. But I am on to you and Trump

Btw, I don't think you're, "on to" anything tex, except evading questions and making irrational inconsistent comments.

LOL

you only asked one dumb question which I have answered MULTIPLE times!

YES I want the GOPe, The RINO’s, the Media, The liberals, The Democrats, the other candidates, or possibly even Trump himself to tell us the whole truth of what he really believe and would actually do if elected.

I dont care where the truth comes from, I just want the truth to come out!!!

Now you can go back to your attack, divert, and reassert.

I see you have limited intellect and probably wont be able to comprehend what I just said.

I am done responding to your asinine responses.

Unfortunately for the opposition, most people also believe the following about him:

1. He’s pro-American, and unapologetic about it.
2. He’s a doer, not a talker, and a very successful one.
3. He can’t be bought.

That combo is absolutely deadly to the establishment. It’s one of the reasons why “attacks” seem to just make him stronger in the public mind. The average American is fed up with the political class and is ready for a real “reset” button to be pushed on DC.
