I have thought this from the beginning. Many here want God to raise up a guy or gal who fits our notion of a great leader. But Peter was a liar and an egotist, Moses a murderer, David an adulterer. Even Jesus went back home & childhood friends said "Is this the same guy?"

We've all noted here that Wahington or Lincoln couldn't get elected today because times change. Trump appears to be the man for the time.
