O’s mom was too young to convey citizenship to 0 if 0 was born overseas.

If his mom was Stanley Ann Dunham.

If his father was Malcolm X, then he is a United States citizen regardless of place of birth.

IIRC, if the dad was american and the mom a foreigner, and the kid was born overseas, in order for the kid to be an American citizen, the dad had to acknowledge paternity.

Not sure if Malcolm x ever did this.

So in the above case, the burden would be on showing Malcolm acknowledged paternity.

In the case where the dad was American and the mom wasn’t, and the kid was born here, then the kid might be an American citizen.

It might then depend on whether the mom was here legally.

But then we have jus Solis, the “soil” part.

Jus sanguinis, the “blood” part, then follows which parent, the mom who is a transient foreigner, or the dad, who is a u.s. citizen.

Maybe the dad...

So then it boils down to...

Where was 0 born?
