Easier said then done. Yes, shut off the job magnet. But there is an underground economy and a familial network that will sustain many of them. We need to enlist the help of state and local enforcement to enforce our immigration laws. Every traffic stop or minor crime can be used to catch and deport them. No more revolving door. No more catch and release.
Easy peasy,
1. Make it a serious felony to employ an illegal.
2. Offer a $500 (per illegal employee) bounty for turning in employers who hire illegals. And yes, employ local LEOs in enforcement.
3. Make it impossible for illegals to have a driver’s license, register a vehicle, etc.
4. Prohibit illegals from getting any benefits.
Those four actions would self-deport 90%+ of illegals. If an illegal lives with a family member and doesn’t work, they’ll probably slip through, but how many of those are their?
