Trump is getting better in his delivery.
Although Faux spent the entire debate night trying to take Trump out,
he gained in the polls.
The good news for Trump is he will be better prepared in the next debate.

Press conference in New Hampshire. He is going to have a Town Hall there soon, opposite of Jeb’s. It was really fantastic. It really is like he’s already president. The press was fielding him with a bunch of gotcha questions and he shoved them right back down their throat. He went after Jeb pretty damn hard too. It was amazing. Sorry, don’t mean to gush. lol
That is his problem in a nutshell. He is jostling for position, when he needs to be leading. Guys like Trump and Cruz talk about saving America; most of the others focus on out-maneuvering their rivals. As a consequence they come off a bit small. Attacking either Trump or Cruz only emphasizes their problem, it only makes it worse for them.
I notice with a lot of these guys, give them an existential issue and instead of being Churchillian, they start listing senate bills they worked on years ago. They don't get it. People aren't looking for a wonk, they're looking for a warrior.

The only conclusion that I can reach is that Unions are safe targets for the GOPe. And that was the extent of Scott’s usefulness. I hope I’m wrong. Very disappointing.

When Churchill gave those great speeches to Parliament in the worst part of the war, he didn't say, "We'll build 200 Halifax bombers, we'll add seventy ships to our navy."
NO! He said "We shall fight them on the beaches, we shall fight them in the fields, we shall NEVER SURRENDER."
That is exactly what that debate was, but you really focused me on what happened. The rest were talking about bills and plans and "as governor" and Trump said in so many words, "These questions suck. I'm great, I'm gonna tell you I'm great, America's great, and we're gonna be great together."
Saw part of news conference and speech. Love the way he interacts with crowd. Reminding them they are on seven news feeds to watch their language. Lol
Trump is working HIS plan, bring the candidates out and let the people see what kind of person they are, before we vote....
