For Mexicans, the Donald Trump candidacy is getting scarier

MEXICO CITY - If Donald Trump were president, he would have Mexico pay to build a wall along its 2,000-mile border to keep itself out..

He'd block the billions of dollars that Mexicans illegally in the United States send home to their families. And prevent their children born in America from automatically becoming U.S. citizens.

There wouldn't be many of these children, however, because Trump would be deporting millions of undocumented Mexicans — all of them, if he had his way.

How does that sound, Mexico?

"We don't know if we should laugh or if we should cry," said Guadalupe Loaeza, a prominent Mexican columnist. "We think he's really a nightmare."

The longer he floats atop the polls, the more Donald Trump has started to make people here feel a bit queasy, forcing them to contemplate whether his candidacy is really something they need to worry about. As Trump published his immigration proposals this week, Mexicans expressed growing concern about his bid for the Republican nomination....

In 2008, a group of Mexican senators went to New Mexico to protest that Mexico did not want their citizens back.

I am confused. Why is it an economic benefit for illegals to be here but an economic detriment for their home country?

Somebody’s lying.

The real issue seems to be, “Why is Mexico such a great place to be from?

That question has an answer: Mexico had a militantly anti-Christian communist revolution in the 1920s. It still hasn't recovered.

* “We don't know if we should laugh or if we should cry,” said Guadalupe Loaeza, a prominent Mexican columnist. “We think he's really a nightmare.” *

And those advocating open borders think the USA is not compassionate because we don't want the illegal invaders to kill us or steal our jobs...

The Mexicans that are staying there are saying that it would be a “nightmare” if those illegals never left Mexico.
Have some compassion for your own people Guadalupe Loaeza if you think it's so horrible for you that these criminals will not be able to leave.

The illegals here send US dollars home that benefits the Mexican economy. Sending these people home will stop this dollar inflow.

Having their population increase by 50% by sending those illegal aliens home will further devastate the Mexican economy.......

Illegal aliens are NOT an economic benefit to the US. They are crushing our social benefit programs......

Because the leaders of that country have no cajones.... Saying that they are leaders is a stretch.
