I graduated forma great little college that refuses to accept one penny of money from teh government. Government money brings government control, after all.
By this principle, since the taxpayers (via our misrepresentatives) havae decided to fund education, would they argue that we don’t have the legal right to refuse their money?

Our kids went to a Baptist church school, starting in kindergarten, then reminded annually, that if we ever accepted government aid in any form, that we would have to remove our children from that school.
That was late 70s, vouchers were being talked about even back then.
That school had the best, most dedicated and lowest paid, Christian teachers.
