BUT then he is not devious as she is (she is the worst kind of evil ever known, well except Hitler). She would be blackmailing him as well to keep his trap shut. He is basically a hostage to her whims, no matter what he does or knows he cannot tell, for he sold his soul when he married her, and she knows it.
