Detroit Most Buick vehicles sold in the United States after 2016 could be imported from China and Europe, according to two sources familiar with parent General Motors Cos plans. Only two of Buicks future US models, replacements for the mid-size LaCrosse sedan and the large Enclave crossover, are expected to be built in North America, according to the sources, who did not want to be identified because their companies work with GM. (Snip) Buick is planning to shift production of the compact Verano sedan from Michigan to China in late 2016, the sources said. Production of the

Thanks UAW!
Even the air they put into the tires is toxic.
Last time I was there I saw lots of Jeep Grand Cherokees and lots of BMWs.
I was in Southern China and I asked the plant manager about his Series 7 BMW and how it fits into the Communist ideals.
He said that in Southern China they practice a sort of modified Communism. ;o)
They’ve been putting China built engines in GM vehicles for years.
See: GM 3.4L V6...Wikipedia. Probably others as well.
Made in China? “I told ‘em, that’s not a Buick!”
Trump was right!
I have been driving a white-bread, conservative, 4-door, no frills 2000 Buick Century since one week before 9-11. It was the dealer’s car.
Unbelieveably I have not had 1 minute’s worth of trouble!
Every now and again I praise that car to the highest heavens! And then add: ‘thank you!’
It has been highly dependable.
Just bought a 2015 silverado and I love it. I drove it more than my corvette in fact.
Seems to me Romney predicted this was going to happen during the 2012 campaign, he was scoffed at.
Goodness! Trump will be all over this like a leaking vacuum hose.

Oh. I see.
So this is where the bailout funds went...
GM will never sell any vehicle built anywhere to me, including used GM vehicles because that would support their resale value. I am boycotting that evil and corrupt company forever because of the GM bailout. They stole from the rightful claimants to GM assets to reward those with connections, and I do not deal with crooks. That company is dead to me. Forever.
Hey - they’re “the most awarded company ever” according to their commercials. Must mean they award the most overseas contracts to communist countries for manufacture of vehicles...
Mmmmm... GM! It puts the “ick” in Buick! Buy one Chinese-made Buick and get 2 free!
For Heaven’s Sake!
in the late 1990’s, we bought two 1996 Chevy Impala SSes, and there is certainly nothing
icky about them. They have served us very well for the past 17-18 years. We wouldn’t buy
a car made in China if it were the last car on Earth and cost $0.01.
And no one can hack them because there are no electronics to hack.
A word to the wise if sufficient.
My first car was a 1970 LeSabre. Hated that car when Dad gave it to me. Driving to school it just screamed “This is my daddy’s car.” Four years later when I totaled it....I cried.
David Dunbar Buick is rolling over in his grave.
We had a ‘01 GMC for ten years and bought another one in ‘11. Zero problems. Both were 5.3 V-8, extended cab 4WD models.
I shopped hard for a Ford F-150 with the same equipment. The dealers were all at least 10 percent higher for the Ford...
What, Obama bailed them out and yet these aren’t going to be produced in Flint, Michigan?
Paging Michael Moore. Michal Moore...
My grandfather always drove big Caddies and Buicks.
We always knew when he was coming because you could always hear their squealing water pumps a block and a half away.
