I agree with you, I don’t think Luntz created a phony focus group because he lost focus group business from Trump... He created a phony focus group because that was the theme of Fox News that night— take down Trump— from the moderators to Luntz to Krauthammer etc...
I think its even easier than that ..... there does not have to be any kind of agreement to take down Trump
Once you leave the smoke filled rooms of FR you will encounter a great number of people who think Trump has a screw or two loose.
Some of those people were in Lunt’s focus group but many of them went in thinking Trump was ok...
They did not agree with FR that Megyn Kelly was a mean moderator out to get Trump (in fact if any of them were aware of Megyn Kelly they knew she was just being Megyn Kelly...she built her name on doing that very thing)
The people in the group reacted negatively to Mr Trump (it happens....and it will continue to happen the more Trump goes to war with every one who doesn’t agree with him.)
